First “wee” bike ride (and feeding the ducks)

On sunday we popped over to Olympic Park and had a fantastic bike ride around the wetlands there.  Afterwards we met up with some friends and then fed the ducks (you’ll see Olympic parks answer to the Loch Ness monster in amongst the photos).  Miranda had so much fun she fell asleep reading her book on the way home!!  The bonus photo is some artwork Mimi did at playgroup today.  Such a talented lass!!!

Miranda’s “In the Night Garden” 1st Birthday Party

In the Night Garden. Igglepiggle. Upsy Daisy. Makka Pakka. They used to be strange words to us, but they’ve always delighted our daughter!!

Miranda has had a wonderful birthday party with her friends. (Mostly boys!) so we’ve had a great time today playing with Angus, Oscar, William, Thomas, Matthew, Isy, Noah, Aaron, Kai, George, Nichola and Joseph.

Hamilton Island Holiday

We’ve had a great time.  Just flown back and arrived home an hour or so ago.  We thought we’d better upload some pics to show you all ASAP seeing as we had so many messages asking where they were.

Miranda had her first birthday while we were away, and Paul had his 34th!!  They’ll no doubt be some more pics as Miranda has her ‘official’ birthday party this weekend – so watch this space.
