We’ve had a lovely Christmas this year, made very special by the fact it was Miranda’s first and she loved every minute of it! We’ve been joined by Grandad Kevin and Grandma Vanessa this year – who flew out from the UK on the 22nd December.
On Christmas Eve we went to the Settler’s Inn at St Albans for Steak and Chips (for those of you that have been out here, you’ll know it’s a McCormack-family-favourite!) , and had some fun with Miranda on the swings after lunch – she loved them as you’ll see in the photo’s!.
Christmas day itself was wonderful. It started off with Miranda opening her stocking in her cot, followed by a smoked salmon and champagne breakfast; presents; turkey lunch (finished off on the BBQ – well done Paul!); more presents; playing with the toys; a swim in the pool and charades at the end of the night. (But my goodness, HOW long did it take Kevin to get Tie – Sun tan – sick??? / Tie – Tan – ick!!!! ????)
Paul, Kevin and Vanessa went off on Boxing day to watch the boats sail out of the harbour for the Sydney to Hobart Race. It was a hot day with no shade, and so Miranda and I stayed at home.
The day after boxing day was spent on a sightseeing trip. We drove Kevin and Vanessa around Sydney town (bondi etc) and had lunch at Doyles on the beach in Watson’s Bay.
Miranda is 6 months old tomorrow – how time flies ! Click on this photo to be re-directed to see more:

Apologies to those of you regular subscribers to Humblebee, it’s taken a while to get these pictures online as we ran out of disk space and needed to have a spring clean. We’re back on track now, so please enjoy having a look at some of our highlighted moments over the past week or two.
